Villanova 84, Siena 72
Didn't catch much of the lone early game. Villanova got out to an early lead and was in control throughout. They shot 54% as a team, and were 6/13 from 3. Scottie Reyonlds led the way with 25 points, 8 boards, and 5 assists. Tay Fisher, 6/6 from deep in the win over Vandy, was only 1/4 from beyond the arc in this one.
Texas 75, Miami FL 72
Tennessee 76, Butler 71 (OT)
Davidson 74, Georgetown 70
WKU 72, San Diego 63
These were fun.
The Longhorns came out on fire from 3, starting out the game 7/11. When they get going, with Augustin running things and Abrams hitting from everywhere, they're tough to stop. Miami staged a late comeback- the highlight was Augustin, up 2 with 2 seconds left, airballing his first FT attempt- but it wasn't enough. Abrams finished with 26, 6/10 from 3 and 6/6 from the line.
The Tennessee and Davidson endings were happening at the exact same time, and CBS was switching back and forth pretty much every play. Tennessee survived, but the way Louisville is playing right now, I don't like their prospects of advancing to the Elite 8. Seems like the Vols peaked around February 23rd.
Stephen Curry had only five points in the first half, and Davidson trailed by 11. He then went off for 25 after halftime, including 13 in the last 4:40. His line- 8/21 from the field, 5/15 from 3- doesn't do him justice, as he was nearly perfect down the stretch, only missing one FT during that run. They'll face Wisconsin on Friday, which should be another great matchup. I'm sure the Wildcats will be a popular upset pick, but I think you know who I like in that one.
Memphis 77, Mississippi St. 74
Louisville 78, Oklahoma 48
North Carolina 108, Arkansas 77
The Memphis game should not have been that close. Despite the Tigers controlling the game throughout, Mississippi St.'s Jamont Gordon had a decent look to tie it at at the buzzer. Memphis was 2/6 from the line in the last 20 seconds, and 6/17 (35%) for the game. All four teams still alive in the South have a legitimate shot at winning that region.
The same cannot be said for the East. Louisville and UNC both played out of their minds tonight, and look to be on a collision course to meet in the regional final next weekend. I really hope they do- that would be an unbelievable game.

You're right about Tennessee. I have Louisville in the Elite Eight. Stephen Curry is the biggest player of this Dance so far
