I think Kansas is the best team in the country, so I put them first. I try to keep it simple. The draw is going to be so crucial this year. Look at Parrish's bracket. Theoretically, we could have UCLA, KU, Stanford, and Louisville as the top four seeds in one bracket. In another, it could be Tennessee, Texas, Purdue, and Butler.
Here's another way to look at it. Using Pomeroy's numbers as a guide, Louisville would be favored by 19.5 if they were matched up with Boise St. in a 4-13 game. Another 4-13 matchup, Butler and New Mexico, actually has the 13 seed favored by 1.5 points. That's quite a swing.
More Pomeroy fun- he's got Kansas beating potential 16 seed Alabama St. by 36 on a neutral court. A Vanderbilt-Illinois St. 5-12 matchup would have the 'Dores favored by just one point. It's going to be quite a month.
