Regarding the men's 4x100 freestyle, betus.com had the US at -300 and France at +300. Other sites had it at -500 and +250. I took France and now despise that trash talking choker of a Frenchie with a passion.
Fyi, Nastia Liukin (all around women's gymnastic champion) was also +300 at betus.com for both the all around and uneven bars competition, the latter where she/I was robbed by the no shared golds rule.
Another strong contender emerges in the "worst MVP column, 2008 edition". Checkout Gammons' article re: Geovany Soto. Yeah, you read that correctly.
