Here's the summary of the 36 entries submitted for round #3:
At this point in the season, you figure that the seeding projections have to mostly focus on what a team has done, although the next four weeks can certainly cause some meaningful changes.
Ohio St. was the only unanimous #1 seed, but there's clear separation between the top five and the rest of the pack. Those are definitely the five most likely top seeds, but I do think the Mountain West teams both have a chance to sneak onto the top line; certainly if SDSU beats BYU on the 26th, otherwise takes care of business, and then wins the tournament in Vegas, they'd deserve serious consideration. The Cougars could run the table in even more impressive fashion, since that would mean winning at Veijas Arena, but they do have that second loss already.
Our group is not nearly as high on the other #2 seed, which is not too surprising, since Notre Dame is just 17th in KenPom. ND's current resume is unquestionably strong, but they still have to pay visits to WVU, Providence and UConn prior to the Big East tourney. I think on the borderline between a #3 and a #4 is reasonable for the Fighting Irish.
