Any Hoyas fan worth his salt know that Macklin struggled mightily with running the intracacies of the Princeton offense (guy literally looked like he was thinking too much on the floor). Macklin is athletic and likes to run the floor...which rarely happened in the timing oriented offense JT3 had installed on the Hilltop. Macklin is the type of guy who, against inferior opposition, can put up big numbers (like against the small frontcourt of Davidson). But against bigger foes (like those of the Big East), Macklin was invisible. Furthermore, the guy was, at one point during the season, 6 for 32 from the line. Now there's someone who can not be on the floor the last 3 minutes of any close game, right? <BR/><BR/>This is addition by subtraction for the Hoyas.
